Book "The Magic of Life"
Danny Green, Pia Dierickx and me are very proud to announce, “The Magic of Life”. Please go to contact page if you would like to order :) The book consists of 200 pages, full color and printed on premium paper, measurements 24 cm x 30 cm and with a hardcover. Price per book 40 euro + extra shipment costs.
It is the third self-published book in the “The Magic of …” series of charity books and as we realized that education is the key to change, and children who are engaged in nature can actively contribute to conservation, we decided to give part of the proceeds from the sale of the books to “Roots & Shoots”. Its success speaks for itself: active in over 100 countries across the globe and 150.000 members.
As we stand on the threshold of a future without chimpanzees in the wild, we decided to raise funds for another initiative of the Jane Goodall Institute: The Chimpanzee Rehabilitation Centre called “Tchimpounga”. Located in the Republic of Congo, the sanctuary is a safe home for chimpanzees rescued from the black market and a leading centre for non-invasive chimpanzee research.
We are very honored that the introduction is written by Dr. Jane Goodall, Ph.D., DBE. Founder the Jane Goodall Institute, UN Messenger of Peace.
Dereck and Beverly Joubert, “Explorers-in-Residence" at the National Geographic Society and multiply awarded filmmakers, photographers and conservationists have written the foreword and support the project.
The book is a tribute to the wildlife and the beauty of our Earth. As Wildlife photographers, it is our duty to use the power of the visual storytelling and share the beauty that we encounter.
We are bringing a compilation of photos taken in various regions such as Botswana, Yellowstone, Belgium, the United Kingdom, the USA, Finland, Norway, … to raise awareness about the importance of protecting environment, fauna and flora on our Planet Earth.
We wanted to reduce the costs as much as possible and this is also the reason why the book will only be available from our websites, social media and via private distribution.
