Under the warm influence of my father, also an amateur photographer and outdoors person, I was very fortunate and started taking photographs at seven years of age.
Unfortunately, those days are gone forever now, but I can never thank my parents enough for the opportunities and experiences I had while growing up.
With the urge to capture new details in nature, my collection of Kodak equipment changed to Canon and has grown as well.
Capturing the details in nature never seizes to amaze me and I am passionate about animals and their behavior. All kinds of natural history are of interest such as birds, insects and reptiles and especially mammals.
Apart from my wildlife trips, I'm always keen to explore the world around me through the eye of the camera. Seeing each subject in a new light and trying to express a mood is a challenge for me.
